The preview image (click on TEST MONITOR) comes from a set of tools for optoelectronic
equipments calibration, where geometry and chromatic fidelity of visualization systems is
critic.
ATTENTION.The test image has been optimized for Windows 98, for the browser MSIE 5x and
for a 800x600 pixels screen resolution. Nevertheless other OS and other browsers have been
able to use the image test (92,680 kb, .JPG, with a resolution of 118,11 pixels/cm).
The image has a 790 x 590 pix. dimension after download.
In order to come back to this page,right-click on the upper bar of the image TEST MONITOR,
then click on CLOSE (CHIUDI).
The image offers few, but clear and important elements of evaluation and control.
1) White, black and 9 grey values must be clearly distinguishable; if not, adjust
   brightness and contrast.
2) Image borders and separation bars between colours must be clean without any curve and
perpendicular; if not adjust the screen geometry.
3) Each colour must be uniform and separation with the black borders must be clean. You
can accept light vertical or horizontal lines inside the blue rectangle and/or other
oblique ones inside the yellow rectangle.
4) All horizontal and vertical lines (upper-left and lower-right) bust be clearly
distinguishable and, between each line, the colour must be exactly as the background.
The same must be for the smaller 6 lines group (3 horizontal and 3 vertical).
We recommend to read carefully the monitor manual before each adjustment, overall
paragraphs number 3 and 4.
